“Go and make disciples of all nations…” – Jesus to the Apostles
Have you seen this poster around the church? Do you know what it means?
The poster is to help us remember as an umbrella covers us in the rain, prayer covers us against tough and trying times. Just remember these simple basics:
- Worship: By coming to mass every Sunday and praying all the time.
- Word: By reading the word of God and letting it transform us and give us strength, love and hope.
- Community: We help each other, which helps our parish, which helps our community.
- Service: When you join or participate in a ministry or event you are serving others.

The Action Plan Matrix below synthesizes the Plan into the following: Expectations, Actions (activities and ministries at St. Philip), Responsibilities, Time-frame and Benchmarks for Success:
In 2014, the parish sponsored numerous studies of Sherry Weddell’s Forming Intentional Disciples. Fr. Robert Barron has provided an outstanding summary of this book.
