Mary’s Mantle Consecration
Starting August 1, Adult Faith Formation will guide an at home 46 day consecration to Mary’s Mantle: A Spiritual Retreat for Heavens Help. The 46 days are based on the Mantle of stars of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Each person will be assigned one day during the Consecration to fast. Each day focuses on growth in a particular virtue to draw you closer to God through his Mother and simply requires you to read the days passage and reflect on it. It is an easy at home way to grow in faith. If you would like to participate please email sskinner@stphilipfranklin.com. Books can be purchased on Amazon.
The Great Adventure Bible Timeline
Adult Faith Formation will be hosting an online bible study called The Great Adventure Bible Timeline: The Story of Salvation History. The Great Adventure uses the unique Bible Timeline learning system to get across the “ big picture “: God’s plan of Salvation. This system simplifies the biblical narrative by dividing it into twelve, color-coded time periods and then focuses in on just fourteen books of the Bible that tell the story in order from Creation to the time of the Church . Once that overall context is learned, the rest of the Bible is read from within the understanding that framework provides. It is a life changing study!
The duration of this study is 24 sessions Wednesdays at 6:30pm beginning July 8, 2020. Using Google Meet: https://meet.google.com/uhk-cpzd-dew.
