A play about the experiences of Otto Frank

“AFTER,” a one act play about Otto Frank’s experience of the Holocaust, will be presented at St. Philip Catholic Church in Franklin on Sunday, July 28 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Center. Attendees should use the entrance at Second and Main. The performance is free and open to the public, but donations are welcome. Written by local playwright Deanne Collins, “AFTER” is a performance of and about Otto Frank. The father of Anne Frank, Otto relates his experiences before and during the Holocaust. The role will be brought to life by St. Philip Parishioner Dave Bielawski. “AFTER” is the companion play to “The Window: Expressions of Anne Frank.” Excerpts from “The Window” will precede the performance of “AFTER” to put the one act presentation into context. St. Philip parishioner Angel Belog will perform violin solos as part of the production. The role of Anne will be characterized by Katherine Kyle and Sheridan Hillegeist.
