Parking
We are a city church, so parking is limited. Here’s what you need to know about parking for our weekend and weekday festivities.
Important
St. Philip is not permitted to park in the lot behind the church on 1st Avenue. This lot belongs to the customers and tenants of the adjacent building. Vehicles that do not belong to customers or tenants risk being towed.
Weekdays and Saturday Daytime
Daily Mass attendees and daytime visitors, to avoid paying for parking Monday through Saturday morning, please park in the Second Avenue garage or on the street.
Sundays Only
Saturday Night and Sundays
Parking in the 1st Avenue lot near First Farmers Bank is a paid parking lot 24 hours/day. However, St. Philip parishioners can park here to attend Mass on Saturday evening or on Sunday for FREE.
When parking in the First Farmers lot on 1st Ave, please do not block access to the ATM or mobile banking lanes.
To park free of charge and avoid any fines or even your car being towed you are asked to do the following:
- After parking your car, proceed to the Church and scan the QR code posted in the Narthex, First Avenue and Rear Foyer entrances.
- Scan the QR code. Enter your car tag, cell phone number and agree to the Terms of Service & Privacy Policy.
You have up to 2 hours of free parking upon entering “Start Session.” If more time is needed, the QR code in the parking lot must be scanned to pay for additional time.
You will receive a text validating your parking. Failure to complete will result in a $40 fine.
